Methodology

Every spec on this site lists a measured amount for each ingredient and a numbered method rather than a paragraph of prose, so a recipe can be followed exactly and scaled precisely. Ratios follow standard bartending references (Old Fashioned 2:0.25:2 dashes, Margarita 2:1:0.75, and so on) rather than house guesses. Recipes are updated when a ratio is found to be off. If you try one and it's wrong, that's useful information, not just feedback.
